Decisions decisions.....

Went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Had a great meal of salmon, parrot fish and sautéed vegetables ... then came dessert... are you only having 2 they asked .... well thats not a question you have to ask me twice....... Memories of Freetown are fading into the distant past

Close encounter with Whale

Not me... But news worthy none the less. This guy was caught by
surprise while kiting off the east coast of Australia when a whale
popped up just in front of him. It gave him a quick flap with its tale
and then moved on. The kiter was unharmed.

Redbull Air race!

Perth is hosting the redbull air race this weekend. This involves aircraft racing against the clock along a tight circuit which is set up on the Swan river. The course requires the pilots to fly between the "gates" about 10-15m above the water. The course was set up quite close to the office so I popped down on Friday afternoon to have a look and take some pictures. The photo shows the "Redbull" plane passing through the middle gate afterwhich the pilot climbs out and turns back to repeat the course for the second, and last, lap.
