Family transport
We are the proud owners of 2 nissan vehicles; a Tiida and an x-trail. Not much difference in price between 2year old used cars and new cars so we ended up buying new.

first day
Well we arrived on time at 7h30. The queue went quickly and we were soon through customs.
the girls spent the afternoon with amanda while we went to sort out bank accounts and cell phones and lastly a quick visit to several car dealers. For now it looks like we will be getting a honda jazz for running around and a nissan x-trail for weekend and offroad use.
bye for now.
happy shoppers
Michelle insisted on this shirt. Even after taking her to other shops she had her mind made up on the blue shirt with grey elephants.

Update Monday 8 September
So our time in SA is rapidly coming to an end. For those of you that we haven't spoken to - the tickets are booked. We are leaving Richards Bay on Wednesday 17th - spending one night in the Free State and then departing for Perth on the 18th.
Roughly the itinerary is:
Monday - 15th Last day of school for the girls
Tuesday - 16th Ballet exams in the morning
Wednesday - 17th leaving Richards Bay on the 6.50 flight
Thursday - 18th Flying out from JHB
Friday - 19th Arriving in Perth
The last 2 weeks have been pretty busy. Pops surprised us all by taking a time out in the hospital ICU. Latest news is that he is doing much better ... so much that he will hopefully move out of ICU and into a normal ward. Mom has had to build up her courage and start driving again. She is staying in a lovely B&B in Ballito and managing to drive to the hospital now.
This week is totally hectic wtih trying to sort out all the admin, such as tax clearance, medical aid, phones, dstv etc.
Bye for now.......
