Went out to Abingdon Minature village yesterday and the girls had a great time loking at all the minature houses and running throught the mazes.

Lisa and I took a cycle around North Lake. This photo looks out over North Lake, which is pretty much a dry pan this time of the year

Easter in Junien Bay

Went through to Jurien to spend the weekend at Steve's place (Toad Hall). We took a leisurely drive up on friday and stopped off at the gravity discovery centre along the way. Pity it wasnt open though.

The gravity discovery centre also features an observatory, perhaps next time around we will have to do thi strip at night!

We stopped of at Emu downs wind farm. Here you will find 48 turbines putting out a total of 80MW. Thats enough to keep 1.3 million lightbulbs glowing!

Pinnacles, just outside Cervates was our last stop and the girls enjoyed posing on the various rock formations.

That night we lit a bonfire and managed to put away a few tosted marshmallows that we had to cook from a distance.

It wasnt long before lisa and michelle got stuck into the various games . They hadnt played twister before and I think its their current all time favourite (after monopoly - but probably just because michelle keeps on winning)

Saturday morning we took a drive down to the marina to go fishing and snorkelling in the bay.

Lisa looked a little queasy so Steve let her steer the boat (she made a course for due west). We went out in a Life boat that had been retired from one of the north sea oil rigs. Bright yellow and with a name like Chook Magnet ......... i'll leave the rest to your imagination.

That afternoon Lisa and Michelle spent about an hour down on the beach playing in the waves.

Sunday morning Lisa came hopping into the room saying that the Easter Bilby (Australian version of the easter Bunny) had come. The girls set out on an easter egg hunt and found 47 easter eggs!!!

Al in all it was a great weekend!
